You’ve been carrying this alone long enough

This Authentic Life Community Course Personalized Support to Take Steps Forward

You know what’s happening inside you.

Maybe you’ve been sitting with it for a year. Maybe two. You’ve read everything, listened to every episode, and Googled things you immediately deleted. And you still wake up at 3 am worrying about where to go from here.

You don’t need more information. You need women who already understand — and a guide who has walked every step of this path herself.

This is the 16-week program I built because I couldn’t find it when I needed it most.

Maybe You’re Here Because…

You’re married to a man and you can’t stop thinking about her.

Maybe it was a friend, a coworker, someone online. Maybe nothing even happened. But something shifted—and now you can’t unsee it.

You’re avoiding physical intimacy with your husband. You’re crying in the car. You feel selfish even thinking about your own happiness.

You’ve been Googling “am I a lesbian” at 2am for months—maybe years.

You delete your browser history. You’ve watched every YouTube video, read every Reddit thread, listened to every podcast episode.

You’re exhausted from carrying this alone. But you have no idea where to start.

You’re terrified of what this means for your kids.

They’re in middle school, high school, and college applications. You’re afraid of disrupting their lives during critical years. Afraid of custody battles.

Afraid of losing their respect. You want to be an authentic role model, but what if coming out destroys them?

You grew up in church—and the shame is crushing.

Catholic, Evangelical, Mormon, or just “Christian.” You’re deconstructing what it means to be a “good Christian woman” while questioning your sexuality. You’ve left the church but you’re spiritually homeless.

You’re terrified God is punishing you. You want faith that doesn’t require your erasure—but you don’t know if that exists.

You don’t know if you’re “gay enough” to blow up your life.

Maybe you’re bisexual. Maybe you’re just unhappy in your marriage. Maybe this is compulsory heterosexuality and you’ve been performing your whole life.

Maybe this is a midlife crisis. You obsess about this daily. You need clarity—but you’re terrified of what you’ll find.

Your catalyst relationship ended—and you feel abandoned.

The woman who woke you up is gone. You’re grieving the years you “lost” to comphet. You’re mourning the young love you never had.

You don’t fit in straight spaces anymore, but you don’t feel “queer enough” either. You’re lost between worlds.

You’ve already figured out more than you give yourself credit for.

What you haven’t had yet is a room full of women who get it on a cellular level — this community is in the middle of it with you, who don’t need the backstory, and who will still be texting you two years from now.

That room exists. And there’s a seat waiting for you.

I Built This Authentic Life Because I’ve Been Exactly Where You Are, and Doing it Alone Only Got Me So Far

I also know what it cost me to try to find the words about who I was, come out, navigate divorce, experience my first wlw relationship, all alone — and why that isolation wasn’t a personal failing. It’s a trauma response. We were never meant to carry this by ourselves.

When I came out at 52, I had the masters degree, the chaplain training and the grief counseling certification. I still almost didn’t make it through.

Not because the path was impossible.

Because I was trying to think my way through something that required so much more than thinking.

We are smart women.

We are used to being the one who figures it out, holds it together, researches until we find the answer.

That part of us got us this far. But this journey asks for something different — it asks us to feel our way through, alongside other people who truly understand.

And I know what you might be thinking.

Community. Maybe that word makes something in you tighten.

Maybe you’ve spent most of your life in rooms where you performed belonging without ever really feeling it — the church, the neighborhood, the marriage.

You got good at being part of things without ever being fully known.

This is different. These women aren’t looking for you to perform anything. They’re here because they couldn’t fit their old life either. For the first time, you won’t have to explain yourself from the beginning. They already know what it’s like.

You do not have to navigate coming out midlife, divorce, family changes, and accepting yourself for who you are, all by yourself.  Here you will find people who accept you, and embrace you because of  who you are.

This Authentic Life Community Course is what I desperately needed and couldn’t find: a structured path forward, with a professional guide who has lived this, surrounded by women who are finally, genuinely, your people.

This isn’t just content to consume. It’s the first room where you can actually belong.

What This Authentic Life – Community Course is All About

A

Understanding Yourself — Exploring your identity, processing comphet (compulsory heterosexuality) and internalized homophobia, and releasing shame

A

Coming Out with Confidence — Practical strategies and actual scripts for conversations with your husband, kids, parents, friends, clergy, and co-workers

A

Navigating Marriage Decisions — Compassionate guidance on stay, pause, open, or leave decisions (without pressure or timeline)

A

Building Your Queer Community — Finding your people and creating belonging without performing or proving

A

Dating and Relationships — Exploring what you want and who you are as a queer person

A

Living Authentically — Designing a life that reflects your true self, your values, and your joy

A

The Grief Nobody Brings a Casserole For — Naming the losses that come with becoming yourself. The marriage that was real, the future you imagined, the faith community that once held you, the version of you that others knew.

Together we move through the five stages of grief and the tender territory of ambiguous loss, the grief for what is still present but forever changed. We learn practices for tending what aches, so that honoring what was does not keep us from walking toward what is true.

A Community Course Created to Support You Wherever You Are on Your Journey

This course gives you a clear path forward—whether you’re still questioning, ready to come out, navigating divorce, or rebuilding after separation.

Here’s how this authentic life community course transforms you in 16 weeks.

Step 1: Get Clarity

(Week 1-6)

What you’ll do: Complete Modules 1-2 on identity, comphet, and nervous system regulation – Attend twice-weekly support groups with women who understand – Have your first 1:1 coaching session with me – Access the Authentically Us community for daily support

What changes: You stop obsessing about your identity daily. You finally have language for what you’ve felt your whole life. For the first time in a long time, your nervous system starts to settle. You realize: you are not alone in this. This has a normal, predictable path.

What this looks like: You’re on a support group call and another woman says, “I’ve been Googling for two years.” You think: “Oh my god, that’s me.” You’re not alone anymore. Your nervous system starts to settle.

Step 2: Have the Conversation

(Weeks 7-11)

What you’ll do: Complete Modules 3-4 on community, scripts, and hard conversations – Practice your scripts in support groups before the real conversations – Have your second 1:1 coaching session with me to prepare – Get support before AND after talking to your husband, kids, parents

What changes: You stop white-knuckling hard conversations alone. You know exactly what to say to your husband, your kids, your parents. You have women texting you that morning: “You’ve got this. We’re here.” You’re not improvising anymore.

What this looks like: Before you have “the talk” with your husband, you practice the script in a support group. Three women give you feedback. You feel prepared. After the conversation, you text the group. Five women respond within minutes. You did it. And you weren’t alone.

Step 3: Come Home to Yourself

(Weeks 12-16)

What you’ll do: Complete Modules 5-7 on relationships, logistics, and future vision – Make decisions about your marriage from clarity, not panic – Build your wider queer community beyond the course – Celebrate your transformation with women who walked it with you

What changes: You stop asking permission to want what you want. You make your decision about your marriage—stay, pause, open, or leave—with compassion and clarity. You have your people. You’re designing a life that fits.

What this looks like: You’re at the final support group call. Someone says, “Remember week 1 when you were terrified?” You laugh. That feels like a different person. Someone says, ‘Remember week 1 when you were terrified?’ You laugh. That feels like a different woman. You have five women you’ll text for years. You’re not hiding anymore. You’re living. And it feels like coming home.

Is This Course Right For You?

This Course is For You If:

You’re married to a man and questioning your sexuality.

You’ve been trying to figure this out alone for 1-2 years, and you’re exhausted.

You have kids (young, teens, or college-age) and you’re terrified of disrupting their lives.

You grew up in a religiously conservative background and carry deep shame.

You’re in (or recovering from) an intense relationship with a woman that changed everything.

You’re ready to stop white-knuckling your way through this.

You want community, coaching, and a clear roadmap—not just more content to consume.

You’re willing to do the inner work (reflection, practice, vulnerability).

You’re ready to be witnessed — not just informed.

You’re tired of processing this alone inside your own head.

This Course is NOT For You If:

You’re not yet ready to be seen by others — this course requires showing up, even quietly at first. If you’re not there yet, the Self-Guided Course was made for exactly where you are.

You want a quick fix (authentic transformation takes 16 weeks minimum).

You’re looking for someone to tell you what to do (I’ll guide you, but you make your own decisions).

You need emergency mental health support (please work with a therapist first).

What Women are Saying About This Authentic Life

“What community gives that a self-study course cannot. I finally felt seen. These women got it in a way my therapist never could. We’re still texting two years later.”

Michelle, 44

“I tried to do this alone for two years. In 16 weeks with Anne-Marie and the group, I had more clarity than I’d had in years. The coaching sessions were exactly what I needed at exactly the right time.”

Jennifer, 51

“The faith deconstruction piece was what I didn’t know I needed. Anne-Marie helped me see that I could be spiritual and queer. I didn’t have to choose.”

Maria, 48

“Before this program, I thought I was the only 45-year-old married woman who had no idea if she was gay. The support groups changed everything. I wasn’t alone anymore.”

Sarah, 46

“I was terrified to tell my kids. The scripts Anne-Marie gave me—and practicing them in the group first—gave me the confidence to do it. My kids surprised me with their love.”

Rebecca, 49

“I was a little bit lost when I found you, and now I am just so not. These relationships have become a lifeline. The feeling of being supported, and supporting, is amazing.”

You’ve Been Reading Long Enough. Something in You Already Knows.

If part of you recognized yourself in this page — in the 3 am Googling, in the exhaustion of carrying this alone, in the longing for a room where you don’t have to explain yourself from scratch — that recognition is worth paying attention to.

The door is open. There’s no pressure inside it. Just women who understand, a guide who has walked this path, and 16 weeks that could change everything.

Questions You May Have About This Authentic Life Community Course

What if I can’t make the scheduled support group times?

All sessions are recorded. We also offer alternate time slots when possible based on cohort needs.

What if I’m not out yet?

That’s completely fine. Many women join while still married and questioning. You go at your own pace.

Is this confidential?

Absolutely. Everything shared in groups and coaching is confidential. We take privacy very seriously.

How does this show up on my card statements and bank?

It is billed through Anne-Marie Zanzal Coaching.  Please reach out to support@annemariezanzal.com if you need to pay privately.

What if I’m not ready to talk yet? Can I just listen at first?

Yes. You can keep your camera off, stay in the background, and simply be present. Many women spend the first week or two just listening. That is enough. The community is here whenever you’re ready to step in.

What’s the difference between this and the Self-Guided Course?

The Self-Guided Course is a private roadmap — yours, at your own pace, with no group component. The Community Course adds live support groups, personal coaching with Anne-Marie, and the lived experience of walking alongside other women in real time. You also receive membership in Authentically Us, my Mighty Networks community, for the full duration of the program.

If you’re not sure which is right for you, start with the Self-Guided Course — and you can always move into the Community Course when you’re ready.

Can I continue in Authentically Us after 16 weeks?

Yes! After your included 16 weeks, you can continue at $39/month if you choose.

What’s the refund policy?

7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
Try the program for 7 days. If it’s not right for you, email support@annemariezanzal.com for a full refund. You must attend at least one group session, one individual session, and complete module one and two for a full refund.
