JoAnne first wondered if she might be gay in her mid 40s when her 20 year marriage was ending, but I met another man with whom she had a good sex life so she thought “I guess I was just with the wrong partner”.  She got married again at age 48 and became a widow six years later.  At age 55 she fell in love with a woman and she felt comfortable in her own skin for the first time in her adult life.
